Prior Experiences Readied Pastor for All Saints' Post
Pastor Drex Morton says church excels at community ministry and outreach.
Army veteran. Marathon runner. Actor. Meet the multi-faceted Drex Morton, the new pastor at All Saints Lutheran Church. But while Morton, 58, has been an Army Reserve Chaplin for 12 years, competed in several distance races including the Detroit Free Press Marathon and performs with Spotlight Players at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, he says his greatest passion is his ministry work. That resume includes both big and small churches ranging from his most recent post as a co-pastor of a large congregation, St. Michael's Lutheran Church, in Canton for 20 years to Love Lutheran, a small church in Louisiana.
