Sponsored by the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club, the parade began at Church Street at 10 a.m. and ended at the Brighton High School. Hundreds of families set up chairs up and down the parade route, including Stacey Dailey and Jason Emerson of Howell, and Reid Shumaker, 7, with his brothers Ben, 3, and Sam, 5, all from Fenton. Everyone had a different opinion on what they liked best about parades. “I like all of the cars,” Sam Shumaker said.
