See the Eagles' performances that won second place.
The Hartland High School competitive cheerleading team won second place in this year's state finals. Above, you can watch the Eagles perform in Round 2 and Round 3 of the state competition. According to the MHSAA website, Southgate Anderson finished first with a total score of 780.36, while Hartland followed with a total score of 778.48. Rochester Hills Stoney Creek came in third. The competitive cheer team had a great showing on Friday.
The Hartland High School competitive cheerleading team won second place in this year's state finals. The team competed Friday night in Grand Rapids, where Southgate Anderson captured first place in Division 1. According to the MHSAA website, Southgate Anderson finished with a total score of 780.36, while Hartland followed with a total score of 778.48. Rochester Hills Stoney Creek came in third. The high school's competitive cheer team will try to win the top title.
The Hartland High School competitive cheerleading team is once again headed to the state finals. Hartland will compete in the Division 1 finals Friday beginning at 6 p.m. in Grand Rapids. Other teams competing are East Kentwood, Grandville, Hudsonville, Rochester, Rochester Hills Stoney Creek, Southgate Anderson, and Sterling Heights Stevenson. According to the MHSAA website, Hartland will be perfroming third in Round 1, eighth in Round 2 and fifth in Round 3. Fans will be able to view the competition live online at MHSAA.tv. Videos will also be archived online for later viewing. The cheer team came in fourth place at the finals in 2012. Will you be attending the competition? My daughter cheered on the 1994 Cheer team, which was Third in States. Since then, to my knowledge, Third is the best Hartland result until now. Very good team! It is a tough competition. I know you practiced endless hours. You should all be very proud. more ›
