Hi, everyone! I have some exciting news to share about Patch – we’re getting a whole new look! It’s coming in a couple weeks and it’s going to make Hartland Patch easier to use, and a better place to connect and share. The best part? You’ll be able to see it all on your mobile phone! Here’s what you need to know: Our site is being rebuilt from the ground up! The news will look better and be easier to comment on. And, you’ll find more local voices to keep you in the loop with the latest know-how and opinion. With the start of the new season, it's a great time to freshen up the Hartland Patch Facebook page cover photo — and we're looking for your help. We're asking for you to submit your best Hartland spring photos for our cover photo — it could be a recent photograph, something from the archives. Let's show off the beauty and fun of Hartland in the springtime! Our winter cover photo is a beautiful lake scene photo submitted by Heidi Mills. However lovely this snow-covered photo is, hopefully all the snow and ice will soon melt, and flowers will begin to poke through the ground. You're invited to our Nonprofit Meetup at the Brighton District Library at 3 p.m. on Feb. 20.
Brighton Patch and Hartland Patch are all about making local connections and strengthening our community. So keeping that in mind, we're hosting our first Nonprofit Meetup at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Brighton District Library. Anyone involved in a local nonprofit, including charities, churches and more, is invited to attend to learn more about Patch, our mission and how we can help promote the great work you're doing in the community. There are many free tools the community can access through Patch and we want to teach you how to leverage those opportunities. The event will start at 3 p.m. in the A/B meeting room at the library. Staff members will be able to direct you to the proper place and the event should run about one hour. Please RSVP…
