Police Seek Help Identifying Home Invasion, Assault Suspect

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is seeking help to identify a suspect in a home invasion and assault that happened Monday in Brighton Village in Genoa Township. Police say that the victim was a 65-year-old woman who was leaving for work when she was confronted at her door. She was eventually able to run out of the house to a neighbor who called 911, according to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. The suspect is described by the victim and witnesses as being in his mid 20’s, around 5’10, with a medium build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie.
