Starting Thursday, Starbucks will be offering a more eco-friendly way to enjoy their coffee According to the Detroit Free Press, the coffee giant will begin selling reusable cups on Jan. 3 in an attempt to reduce the waste created by customers purchasing millions of beverages every day—and throwing their cups away. The cups will retail for $1 and fill up to a grande size of a cup of joe. Each refill in a reusable cup—be it one of the new tumblers or another Starbucks mug—earns the user a dime off their purchase. The cups have already debuted on the west coast, but will hit all Starbucks location in the U.S. and Canada—including the Hartland location inside Target—on Thursday.
