More than 40 students participate in commencement ceremonies for the district's alternative high school Wednesday.
More than 40 Hartland seniors graduated Wednesday from the district's LEGACY alternative high school Wednesday during ceremonies at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center. Led by commencement speaker Mark Will of Dale Carnegie, graduates enthusiastically joined him in reciting the poem below during the end of his speech that's credited to C. W. Longenecker. It echoes the theme of this school that offers many of its students a second chance: You Can If You Think You Can! If you think you are beaten, you are, If you think you dare not, you don't.
