Nearly every parent with school-age children has to face that problem at some point in their lives. A few years ago, everyone in my family caught lice. Unfortunately, after realizing that I would have to retreat my children with pesticides that no longer work, I turned to the internet. After a lot of searching around the area and the internet, I finally found something that worked. When I realized that it didn’t exist in any retail outlet nearby, I decided to start my own business, both bringing the products to the area and learning as much as I could about how to spot, treat, and get rid of the lice. I hoped that by doing this, I could help other people avoid facing the frustration and helplessness I had found during my family’s long infestation. Thus was founded theLiceLady.net, a resource both for local families who I am able to see in person and those I have helped in other parts of the country and around the world.

As I have stated, I love nothing more than to help people with their lice problems.  Sometimes I even solve a few of their every day problems as well. I am hoping that by writing about my adventures in lice I am able to impart some humor, some sound advice, and let people know they are not alone in this fight.
