Mike Ryan, Neighbor

My Wife, Judy, and I moved to Hartland in December of 1977. We have raised our 4 children here, and are now empty-nesters. We have 10 Grand children, and 2 Great grand children.

We were very active in the Hartland Jaycees from the very early 1980s, until becoming exhausted roosters at the age of 35. We enjoyed being members very much. I ran the Jaycees haunted house for 5 years.

I worked for Ford Motor Co. 35 years as a skilled tradesman. The bulk of those years were at the Rouge complex in Dearborn, Mi. I retired April 1, 2004.

Judy and I are members of the Hartland Seniors center, and are very active there. She is a dancer with the Recycled Rockettes, and I have been the weight room trainer, as well as doing the lighting, and set construction for the SAGE stage productions crew. I also take care of odd jobs that come about at the center.
