5 Things to Know about Hartland Optimist's Adopt-A-Family Program
Donation boxes for the Hartland Optimist's Adopt-A-Family program will be set out in school buildings the Monday after Thanksgiving.
1. The Hartland Optimist Club will once again sponsor the Adopt-A-Family program for families in the community in need.
2. Hartland schools will have boxes located in all the buildings where families can donate non-perishable food items and paper goods.
3. The Optimist Club is also in need of monetary donations, food and paper products. Donation boxes will be set up in the Community Education office the Monday after Thanksgiving.
4. Other community organizations such as scouts, athletic teams, Hartland Schools student and staff members will also be organizing donation efforts and will be volunteering their time to organize items for the families.
