Hartland Father, Former Detroit Lion Suspected of Trying to Hire 'Hit Man'

Mark Grabowski is suspected of soliciting Livingston County Jail five inmates to kill four people.

Mark Grabowski, the Hartland Township father who served jail time for kidnapping his son, Conner, is suspected of soliciting five inmates of the Livingston County Jail to kill four people, according to the Press & Argus.

Sheriff Bob Bezotte told the newspaper that detectives investigated whether Grabowski tried to solicit a “hit man” to kill the mother of his son, his attorney, the Circuit Court judge and prosecutor who handled his felony case.

No further details were provided, according to the report.

In September, the mother of 11-year-old Connor Grabowski-Cracchiolo reported that Connor was missing after Grabowski failed to return her son to her in Casco Township.

Connor was missing for a week until the FBI found him and his father in South Dakota. Connor was then returned to his mother, the custodial parent, and Grabowski was arrested

Grabowski, a former Detroit Lions defensive lineman, was found guilty of unlawful retention of a child by a parent and ordered to serve 90 days in jail in March.
