Cromaine Summer Concerts Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Hartland.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Hartland to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Summertime fun

On Wednesday, outdoor summer concerts on the Village South Lawn: Bring your picnic, or pick up some brats and dogs from partners Ranger's 4-H and free, fresh popcorn. Rain or shine.

2. Register now

Hartland’s annual Cardboard Regatta is preparing to set sail next Saturday and entries for the event are still being accepted. The fundraiser is sponsored by the Hartland Rotary Club and takes place on Lake Walden at the Waldenwoods Resort.


3. In the community
To support its “Tools for Schools” campaign, United Bank & Trust will be collecting new school supplies such as backpacks, combination locks, calculators, binders and folders at all of their local bank officesfrom July 15 – August 16.

4. For the kids
Tryout dates and times for the new 11U Hartland based team - the Michigan Lazers. Our 1st tryout on the 20 from 12:00-2 is at our home field in Hartland.  Our 2nd tryout is on the 27th from 3-5 at our alternate field in Brighton at Shepherd of the Lakes Church. 

5. Volunteers needed
Arbor Hospice has an immediate need for volunteers interested in providing companionship and a brief reprieve for caregivers in Livingston County. Volunteering at Arbor Hospice is a deeply rewarding and unique opportunity. Arbor Hospice volunteers are an exceptional group of caring and compassionate people who offer patients and their caregivers support as they face life-limiting illnesses.
