You wanted to know, Hartland -- again-- and Patch asked the question. When will the Hartland location of Mikey's Burgers and Fries open?

The most updated information, according to owner Mike Donn is the first week of November.

While the November opening date is later than what was originally hoped for, Donn said he anticipates the new restaurant will be finally be able to open it's doors within the next few weeks.

While Donn was still unable to give an exact opening date, he said is hoping to plan a few grand opening celebrations which will help introduce the restaurant to the community.

Mikey's of Hartland will be located in the Waldenwoods Shopping Center, next door to the Smokers Depot.

Two other locations of Mikey's Burgers and Fries are located at 9912 E. Grand River Ave. in Brighton and the original Howell location at 4525 E. Grand River Ave.

Longtime friends and Howell natives, Big Mike and Little Mike – as they are known around town- opened the original Howell location of Mikey's Burgers and Fries three years ago and expanded into Brighton more than a year ago.

Growing up in the area, Donn said in a previous interview that expanding into the neighboring communities was a natural choice.
